Okay Keith. Keep comparing Owens to murderers, and even cheaters. I guess that makes sense.

Thanks...You guys can believe what you want. It's like OJ Simpson, Barry Bonds, or Ray Lewis. I guess fans of theirs back them, and the rest of the world won't.

Oh, and by the way, one can only be considered to have "committed suicide" if they are dead. Otherwise, it is ATTEMPTED suicide.

Of course, T.O. did neither. It was an accident, not intentional.

But I wanted to point that out...

The Dallas police department has labeled it as an accidental overdose. Doctors investigated the incident and deemed Owens fit to continue his season. I guess all that was a conspiracy to allow Owens to continue his career? Please. The Dallas P.D. would love to find a scoop on Terrell Owens.

When any medical situation is involved, police and doctors assume the worst and investigate. As they should. And any NFL player, especially T.O., is very newsworthy. So a lot of information hit the air before the facts came out.

What is really shocking is people see this crap on TV, and they listen to Terry Bradshaw, and they forget how to differentiate between wife-beaters and egomaniacs.

To be honest with you, I put morals and ethics ahead of wanting my team win championships. Strahan had 3 sacks last week, but I don't root for him because he is wife beater. I wish the Giants fired him. I would rather watch the Giants win a Superbowl after he retires than with him. I want to say we won, and with a good group of guys...

I think the Cowboys/League should put a player in the hospital as soon as something like that happens. Everyone is pretending it didn't happen, and it did. Did you see how the Police told T.O. he was wrong on tv? It went away like a week later like the cops were paid off. T.O. made a mockery of the P.D., and Cowboys fans are backing him. That's what's shocking.

He is as bad as he is perceived. Wait until you're losing like last season when he committed suicide.

Trip produced these comments last time you tried to pull out the "T.O is a suicidal maniac that endangers everyone around him" diatribe.

quote:Negative Keith.

First off, the commissioner doesn’t have the right to put anyone in an institution.

Secondly, it was not a suicide attempt. It was a player, who took too much medication, passed out, and was out of it for awhile. Then his P.R. girl, seeing her slice of the golden pie slipping away right in front of her eyes, freaked out. When the cops asked her if she thought it was a suicide attempt, she said “yeah I think so.” That’s where it all started. And she had no idea what was going on. I’m sure she wasn’t very coherent at that point either.

Anyway, Clint is right. T.O. is a model teammate on this team. Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, Tony Romo… are pushing all the right buttons. T.O. even takes criticism now. When have you ever known T.O. to take criticism without lashing out, because he felt he was being picked on? Not now.

I don’t think he was ever as bad as he was made out to be. Just a spotlight-hungry, ego guy. Now, he’s still that, but he’s doing it within the confines of his team. A team of players who he genuinely likes, and wants to do well.

End of quote

So that was what he wrote last week after your made your comments. I suppose if the Giants had a player (or Redskins or Eagles, etc) that could single handedly whip my team, I would pretty much hate him, too.

While T.O. and my Cowboys are playing in February, we will be thinking of you guys...

You guys forgot to mention that T.O. committed suicide and Moss didn't. T.O. told the Dallas PD that what the police report stated was inaccurate. I believe that any player that attempted suicide doesn't love himself enough to love others. That means he's more dangerous than others. He needs to be institutionalized until he is deemed safe by doctors. It works this way physically, so it should work this way mentally.
